In its early years, Righteous Qi Dao had not been a mighty force that dominated the region. It had merely been a little teahouse where several bored Tribulation Stage cultivators gathered to observe celestial phenomena, divine good and ill fortune, and pass the time.

The words "Righteous Qi" were drawn from the saying, "When righteous qi resides within, evil cannot intrude"—a thoroughly proper way to cultivate the body and pursue immortality.
