An eagle's cry rang across the sky as black wings tore through the shattered thunderclouds like sharp swords.
The Black Winged Golden Eyed Eagle beat its wings and descended onto Lu Bei's raised arm.
Crackle!
A string of sparks and lightning burst forth. Black smoke poured from the Golden Winged Eagle's beak, sparks rose from its feathers, and its two little claws stuck straight out as it plummeted stiffly into the sea below.
Lu Bei pulled it through the air and swallowed it in one gulp.
This bird was pretty useful. He could use it for robbery and black-on-black extortion in the future.
Its name was just too inauspicious—not festive in the slightest. Out of all the names it could have had, why did it have to be Yin Shou?
The worst part was that despite being called Yin Shou, it did not even have a Fox Spirit.
Then again, the leader of the Human Sacred Land, Emperor Ji, was named Chang. Yin Shou's name suddenly seemed even more ominous.
Lu Bei lowered his head and coughed up several mouthfuls of black blood. He stopped She Xuan, who was coming to support him, and returned to Concentric Island.
The Bloodline Curse mission was complete. There was no longer any point in remaining on Immortal Mansion Continent. The four Mahayana Stage cultivators were certainly valuable, but Immortal Mansion Continent was too small. It could not compare to the boundless splendor of Kyushu Continent. At most, it counted as a dungeon, not a main storyline worthy of the greater map.
Lu Bei always prioritized experience above all else. He planned to spend two days recovering before leaving. Once the four Mahayana Stage cultivators had mostly recovered, he would return in disguise and harvest experience sustainably.
Fight and run. The Leeks could not
