After the Ling Brothers logged off, they never came back to the Feather Transformation Sect, and Lu Bei did not continue looking for other players to take the plunge.
There was no need anymore.
The next day, the official forum pinned a video post. It was three minutes long and compiled the exquisite scenes experienced by the closed-beta players.
Aside from shots of scenery, culture, and the like, most of the footage was devoted to the Novice Villages scattered throughout the Kyushu World.
Players were born in the Novice Villages and chose their Main Profession according to their preferences. As long as they did not make some outrageously wrong choice, finding a nearby cultivation sect was not difficult.
Of course, some professional players chose hard mode, spawning from the very beginning in important cities of various nations or near the mountain gates of major sects.
Joining a sect in this mode was exceedingly difficult, but once successful, the cultivation resources would far surpass those of players in ordinary mode. It was highly tempting.
Where there was sacrifice, there was gain. As someone who had been through it, Lu Bei knew the drawbacks of hard mode all too well.
Slow development in the early stages.
The major sects placed great importance on educating their disciples, and their masters watched them very strictly. Players could not descend the mountain and therefore could not come into contact with more quests. Their leveling speed was painfully slow.
