History

Old Continent Kingdom

Gandor was a remote human kingdom of the Old Continent. Its royal family was guarded by the Golden Flower and Thorn Flower families, two powerful knightly houses whose territories lay in the kingdom's core. 17

During its wars with the Beastmen, Gandor fielded court mage legions capable of jointly casting Earth Shattering Mountains, an Earth-element spell comparable to a Forbidden Spell. Beastmen Great Shamans countered the spell by purifying its magical energy, leaving Gandor's army vulnerable until the Thorn Flower knights fought to hold back the counterattack. 387

A later historical account states that Gondor XII survived the reported defeat in the grasslands by using a double. He later ruled as Gondor XIII, recalled the remaining knights, expelled the Beastmen, restored Gandor's territory, and rebuilt the Northern Territory Defense Line. 405

Awakening and Fragmentation

After the Historical Reenactment event, Gandor's dormant cities and neutral legions awakened. The King of Gandor led elite forces north in a campaign resembling the kingdom's earlier decisive war against the Beastmen, while neutral factions began attacking nearby alliances. 358 482

The awakened kingdom was divided between royal forces, neutral military cities, Beastmen, Mist factions, and the revived Harvest Evil God faction. The Royal Capital eventually fell under the influence of the Harvest Church's High Priest, who ruled through the crowned King. 436 482

Fang Yuan's Conquest

Fang Yuan first prioritized the Northern Territory Defense Line and the heartland, seeking to connect northern and southern Gandor while preventing awakened cities from rebuilding their strength. 377 436

After occupying the Northern Territory Defense Line Fortress, Fang Yuan sought the title of First Warrior of Gandor, which was required to gain full command authority and upgrade the fortress. 476

During the Secret Realm tied to Gandor XII's era, Fang Yuan won the martial arts tournament through bribery and political bargaining, receiving the First Warrior title before the royal family's planned purge of the Harvest Church collapsed into open conflict. 494 495

Fang Yuan's army later surrounded the Royal Capital. Lilith's amplified Forbidden Spell destroyed its divine protective shield after the Harvest High Priest shut down the array to evacuate selected priests; the Royal Capital was subsequently destroyed. 536 537
