Chapter Seventy: Not Necessarily?
At the southern end of the War God Continent, inside Sky City's Knight Academy.
It was a gigantic cavern, with waves of heat spreading from within. At this moment, a middle-aged man in a red brocade robe stood respectfully at the cave entrance. He had short Fiery Red hair that seemed to burn like a ball of flame, and even his eyebrows were Fiery Red. His entire person gave off a wild and explosive air.
However, the middle-aged man showed none of his usual explosiveness or impatience now. He had stood motionless here for an entire hour. His stern face was filled with respect, his head slightly lowered, and his blazing eyes fixed on the cave entrance, from which hot air emerged now and then.
From inside the cave came intermittent rumbles of "roar," followed by a wave of heat that rushed out and swept mercilessly toward the middle-aged man standing at the entrance. Strangely, however, the red brocade robe on his body did not stir in the slightest, and the scorching blast did not cause even the slightest ripple in his gaze, which remained fixed straight into the cave.
The waves of heat at the cave entrance seemed endless. At a certain moment, "Boom!" A tremendous explosion suddenly came from within the cave. Immediately afterward, a Fiery Red tongue of flame streaked with golden light shot violently out of the cave. Dense cracks appeared in the space along its path, and wisps of a strange, heart-pounding aura leaked out. Its target was the middle-aged man who had stood at the entrance all this time.
Faced with that tongue of flame, the middle-aged man could no longer remain calm. His eyes narrowed slightly, and his hands, which had hung at his sides, suddenly formed one hand
