A Deal with Sand Crocodile

"Crocodile!"

Sand Crocodile, who had just been preparing to leave, stopped in his tracks and turned around with Daz Bones. The sight before them left him stunned.

"Marco, you came looking for me?"

Crocodile looked extremely surprised. The man behind him had never interacted with him much. Although the two sides had joined forces during the Summit War, they should have been enemies before that.

A wary look flashed through Crocodile's eyes. He was also a threat to the Whitebeard Pirates. Perhaps that was why this man had come!

"Don't be so tense. I mean you no harm. I still have to thank you for your help at Marineford."

After giving him a casual glance, Gu Sheng spoke. Crocodile, however, did not relax his guard. After observing him for a while, he replied, "What happened at Marineford was merely a matter of circumstance. I was helping Straw Hat Boy, not your Whitebeard Pirates. You don't need to thank me. Is there something else?"

He remained vigilant as he spoke and simultaneously issued Daz Bones an order: if the situation turned bad, they were to find a way to leave immediately.
