"Brother Shan, what's wrong?"
Zi Ning suddenly took Zhuo Shan's hand and asked. She seemed to have sensed that something about her husband was different. Married couples were of one heart; although Zhuo Shan had hidden his anxiety in recent days, Zi Ning had still noticed something.
"Nothing!"
Zhuo Shan turned his head and smiled, tightening his grip on Zi Ning's hand.
"You surnamed Huo, stop right there! Your crimes have been exposed."
The family of three was walking along the road when a voice suddenly came from behind them. They turned and saw several men dressed as constables, one of them holding up a portrait and pointing at Cloudwalker. "It really is you, you surnamed Huo! Twelve years—it took us quite a while to find you!"
"Who are you people?"
When Cloudwalker saw them, he had an ominous feeling. He cautiously shielded his wife and son behind him. "My surname isn't Huo. My name is Zhuo Shan. You've mistaken me for someone else."
"There's no mistake. I could never mistake that face."
The man who looked like the head constable pointed at Cloudwalker and called to the others, "This fellow is the criminal who resisted arrest and killed Lord Divine Arrest more than ten years ago. Everyone, get him!"
The constables charged forward together. Zi Ning was frightened by the shouts and chaotic noise, covering her ears and crying out. The men came at them aggressively, and Zhuo Shan naturally fought back to protect himself.
His fists and feet flew, and terrifying force sent one constable after another tumbling away. Since he had no intention of killing, these people were lucky to survive.
Seeing that they were useless in a direct confrontation, the constables swiftly changed tactics. They formed a battle array and attacked together, striking from all directions
