Iron Dragon City was a small city in Plantain Leaf County, one of the eighteen counties of Qing Province. It bordered Yangzhou and was one of the places where Qing Province and Yangzhou met.
Before the Snow Lotus Cult appeared in the eighteen counties of Qing Province, the Free and Unfettered Palace controlled fifteen of them. The other three had always been in turmoil, controlled by various gangs and sects... The Free and Unfettered Palace had only unified them in name. Plantain Leaf County was one of those three chaotic counties.
Gu Sheng and Pei San had reached an agreement for the Snow Lotus Cult to withdraw from Qing Province completely. Before leaving, however, with Gu Sheng's tacit approval, Pei San launched a military rebellion against the Free and Unfettered Palace, plundering Qing Province's various resources to strengthen the Celestial God Palace.
Over the past five or six years, the Snow Lotus Cult's rebellion had begun in the three chaotic counties and spread across twelve counties of Qing Province. Even Tiger Leap County, the core territory of the Free and Unfettered Palace, had been blockaded and ravaged by a Thunderbolt Divine Eagle. The Free and Unfettered Palace had been utterly humiliated.
After the Snow Eagle Cult in Yan Province had been defeated and annihilated by the heavy forces of the Great Snow Mountain of the Grasslands last year, the Free and Unfettered Palace had come under attack from both north and south. War had erupted even in the six counties that remained, and the situation persisted until early spring, when the Snow Lotus Cult and the Great Snow Mountain suddenly withdrew their forces and three armies charged straight toward Hongtian City in You Province.
