Then, using black ore, she surrounded the stone slab and carved a complex, twisted pattern.

She instinctively pulled out her camera.

"Red-Eyes, I advise you not to take pictures."

Jiang You obediently put away the camera. Since Red-Eyes would not let her take pictures, she secretly committed the pattern to memory.

All sorts of abstract symbols crowded every corner of the formation. The harder she tried to remember them, the blurrier the pattern before her eyes became.

Red-Eyes noticed her little trick from the corner of her eye but did not stop her. He simply continued carving into the ground with black ore.

One winding black line after another came into existence beneath Red-Eyes' hands.

Jiang You asked, "Can you really move Chen Family Village here that easily?"

"If you were doing it, it would require a complicated sacrificial ritual, a long time, and a heavy price. But if it's me, all I need is this." Red-Eyes sounded extremely arrogant, but he was merely stating a fact.

Jiang You did not argue.

Instead, she stepped aside and waited quietly.

Red-Eyes continued, "You must have observed this before. The entire Hollow Mountain is a huge altar, corresponding with the five surrounding peaks. What do you think their arrangement resembles?"

Jiang You frowned and thought for a moment. Then she extended her right hand, palm facing upward, and curled her five fingers into a grasping position.

"It looks like a hand that's grasping something."

"Exactly." A smile touched the corners of Red-Eyes' mouth. "So the five mountains surrounding Hollow Mountain aren't useless decorations."

The black line beneath his hand pointed southwest. "Then do you know where Chen Family Village should be now?"

Jiang You's gaze followed the direction of the black line. "Haven't you already told me? Spirit Snake Peak."
