Little Lesson
Jiang You slipped into the room through the roof, before she had time to turn around and cover the tiles back up.
"Snap~"
A soft sound rang out.
A flickering light instantly illuminated the entire room.
Looking down, she saw Jiang Xi sitting at the corner of the bed with a messy Taoist-style haircut. He held a candle in one hand and a lighter in the other.
"Hi~"
Jiang Xi waved with an ambiguous smile.
"How was it? Our roof was pretty easy to walk on, right?"
"Not bad... It was a little uneven, but nothing serious."
Jiang You calmly covered the tiles back up, then leaped down.
She stood in front of Jiang Xi and looked straight down at the man who had appeared in her room in the middle of the night.
"Whether I use the door or the roof is a personal habit. But you've already rented this house to me. What are you, the landlord, doing in someone else's room without permission?"
Jiang You narrowed her eyes. "Are you making a move on me? I didn't expect you to be that kind of person. I really misjudged you."
Turning the tables was practically a basic skill for every villain.
"What?!"
At those words, Jiang Xi shot to his feet.
"You can insult me, but you can't insult my taste!
I like cute girls, not a black lump of coal like you, who couldn't be seen at all walking down the road in the middle of the night!"
"Really?"
Jiang You stared at him suspiciously. "Then why did you come to my room? To chat with me in the middle of the night?"
"Of course! You can't even compare with one toe of my future sister-in-law Tieguanyin. How could I possibly be interested in you?!"
