Li Yuan led the Dawn Team through the qualifiers and promotion matches, earning a spirit beast reward before joining the teams’ journey to Spirit City. A Spirit Hall ambush left Shrek Academy badly injured, and Li Yuan’s team began competing in the finals.

• Li Yuan helped the Dawn Team defeat Shrek Team and several tournament rivals, while secretly killing Shi Nian after he trapped Li Yuan, Ning Rongrong, and Tang San in an illusion.
• Li Yuan let Feng Xiaotian’s Godwind Academy win their match, then conceded to Skywater Academy so Shui Bing’er and Xue Wu could advance.
• At the promotion tournament, Tang San defeated Huo Wu and drew with Feng Xiaotian, while Li Yuan defeated Meng Yiran’s Exotic Beast Academy and Yu Tianxin’s Thunderclap Academy.
• Li Yuan claimed a thirteen-thousand-year Three Delicacies Dragon Fish as his reward, found an External Soul Bone pot inside it, and raised his Soul Power to level forty-five by eating spirit beast meat.
• Qian Renxue led the teams toward Spirit City, where over a thousand Spirit Hall soul masters ambushed them and targeted Shrek Academy.
• Yue Guan and other Spirit Hall forces injured Flender, Zhao Wuji, and Liu Erlong, while Tang Hao arrived to protect Tang San before fleeing from five Titled Douluo.
• Li Yuan entered Spirit City with the teams, cooked a sixty-thousand-year-old Lightning Leopard, and used the Golden Kitchenware to improve his Soul Power and Lightning Attribute.
• Dawn Team faced Raptor Academy in the finals, and Li Yuan’s Deidara clone drove the bird-type opponents from the air with explosive clay figures until their captain surrendered.

Li Yuan won the tournament, escaped Spirit Hall, and built a following in Snow Wolf Valley before entering the City of Slaughter. After establishing his own rules and completing one hundred arena victories, he entered Hell Road with Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan, where a bat attack left him falling toward the blood river.

• Li Yuan’s Dawn Team defeated the Spirit Hall Representative Team in the tournament final, but Bibi Dong exposed his identity and ordered his arrest.
• Li Yuan escaped Spirit City with help from Du Shixiong, fled to the Extreme North Land, and later returned to Snow Wolf Valley to find his followers and arms factory thriving.
• Li Yuan attended the Green Forest Heroes Representative Conference, where he entered the contest to become Top Leader and battled Bluebeard.
• Li Yuan entered the City of Slaughter, recruited its criminals into the Star Constellation Sect, and imposed rules that curbed violence in the inner city.
• Li Yuan completed one hundred Hell Slaughter Arena victories alongside Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan, and the four refused the King of Slaughter’s offer so they could challenge Hell Road.
• Li Yuan and the Spirit Hall trio began crossing Hell Road, where he drew in and killed blood bats before charging the Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat.
• The Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat split into hundreds of smaller bats after Li Yuan smashed its middle head, and Hu Liena caught him with her fox-tail soul bone as he fell toward the blood river.

Li Yuan survived Hell Road, awakened new powers, and seized control of the Heaven Dou Empire while Spirit Hall launched its campaign against rival forces. The arc ends with Tang San fleeing with Xiao Wu as Spirit Hall’s Titled Douluo attack the forest’s great soul beasts.

• Li Yuan destroyed the Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King, defeated a giant snake on Hell Road, and carried Hu Liena, Xie Yue, and Yan across the blood lake to the exit.
• Li Yuan’s Bloodline Power awakened inside a cocoon, and after two years he emerged with a slaughter domain and gained a sixth soul skill from a God-Bestowed Spirit Ring.
• Li Yuan reunited with the Spirit Hall trio, escaped Yue Guan after testing his new skill, and returned to the Sunset Great Forest, where the Golden Lion survived its Heavenly Tribulation and awakened a second head.
• Li Yuan reunited with Ning Rongrong in Heaven Dou City, learned of Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun’s defection, and took Qian Renxue’s place as Crown Prince after she left to inherit the Angel God position.
• Li Yuan killed Xue Ye and Xue Beng, took control of the imperial family, and used the GM Army and a campaign against nobles to weaken the Heaven Dou Empire’s opponents.
• Li Yuan demanded the Clear Sky Sect withdraw, crushed the Strength Clan, and prepared a two-hundred-thousand-strong campaign, while Tang San and Tang Yuehua urged the sect to disperse and avoid a direct battle.
• Qian Daoliu named Qian Renxue Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden and announced the Soul Hunting Operation, directing Spirit Hall to target the Clear Sky Sect and other opposing forces.
• Tang San went to the Star Dou Great Forest to reunite with Xiao Wu, but Spirit Hall members attacked him, then pursued him and Xiao Wu as the Titan Giant Ape and Sky Azure Bull Python fought the Titled Douluo.

Li Yuan outmaneuvered Tang San in Heaven Dou, secured control over the weakened empire, and recruited Lou Gao’s Blacksmith’s Guild for the GM Army. As the guild fled Geng Xin City, Li Yuan and Ning Rongrong faced the Star Luo forces sent to stop its relocation.

• Tang San survived Xiao Wu’s sacrifice and fled Spirit Hall’s attack, while Di Tian drove him and Xiao Wu from the Star Dou Great Forest and the Asura God arranged for their safe landing.
• Tang San tried to build an alliance with Xue Beng and establish the Tang Sect, but Li Yuan’s deception led to Tang San being accused of poisoning Xue Ye and forced to flee the capital.
• Ning Fengzhi accepted Li Yuan’s terms, and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and Heaven Dou forces destroyed the Tang Sect, while Ning Rongrong agreed to lead Shrek Academy.
• Li Yuan returned to Lin Dong City and traveled to Geng Xin City with Ning Rongrong and Zhang San, where he recruited Lou Gao and secured the Blacksmith’s Guild’s agreement to relocate to the GM Army.
• Tang San and Professor Yang tried to prevent the guild from joining the GM Army, but Li Yuan used Qian Renxue’s token to control Michael and then warned Lou Gao that Star Luo forces might attack.
• Tang San gave Professor Yang the firearm blueprints, while Lou Gao led the guild out of Geng Xin City and Li Yuan stayed behind with Ning Rongrong to hold off the Star Luo forces.
• Ning Rongrong boosted Li Yuan as Professor Yang led the Star Luo worshippers into battle, and Li Yuan’s explosions and clones overwhelmed their ranks until Professor Yang transformed with his Martial Soul Avatar.
