There were many acts in the circus.
Lu Xin had only come because he wanted to cheer Sister up, but even he found the show thoroughly enjoyable.
He truly admired how these people had thought of so many interesting and entertaining acts, and found so many wondrous performers.
After the magician completed his performance flawlessly, one spectacular act after another took the stage.
Lu Xin and the others saw a graceful woman dancing with snakes. Wearing a white-and-gold bikini covered in tiny, sparkling rhinestones, she climbed into a black box. Her hands, feet, and body were all locked inside, with only her head exposed.
Then the assistant opened the locks on the box and hurriedly backed away.
All four sides of the box fell to the ground at once, and only then did the audience realize that it was filled with snakes and insects.
There were all kinds of snakes tangled together and rolling about: some with pointed heads, some with brilliantly colored, delicate scales, some whose tails swayed constantly like whistles, and some whose necks could flatten into a sheet. The graceful woman lay languidly in their midst.
Every snake and insect pressed affectionately against her, lazily writhing and crawling.
Bewitching music began to play around them. The woman gently swayed her waist, clasped her hands together, and raised them like a snake.
She softly whistled, and all the snakes stretched out their bodies.
They matched the amplitude of her movements, swaying gently. The scene was horrifying yet tragically beautiful...
"Eek, that's terrifying..."
Watching those snakes and insects, Lu Xin and Sister both felt a chill.
They had goosebumps all over.
Then they couldn't help praising her at the same time: "She's incredibly brave..."
