"Where's Building Number Nine?"
Looking at the large and small buildings spread across the area, with their densely packed windows still lit in the dead of night, Lu Xin felt a little dizzy.
This silent, expansive complex was mostly exposed beneath the glow of streetlights shining through the night. Yet much of it was still hidden in deep shadows. From a distance, it seemed as if something was watching from within the darkness. Just looking over from here made him feel that indescribably strange dangers were concealed among the buildings.
"If all else fails, I can just follow the building numbers and search them one by one?"
As he walked, Lu Xin quickly came up with a simple plan and crept forward through the shadows along the wall.
He looked very professional!
With Sister's power, he moved with agility and speed, darting through the vast grounds of Tianhe Security. He constantly watched for movement around him, lest he run headfirst into a patrol of guards. Whenever possible, he moved through the shadows beneath the surrounding buildings. Along the way, he kept an eye out for the surveillance cameras, trying to stay in their blind spots during every stretch of the journey.
Even when he couldn't avoid them, he would flash past quickly, confident that his speed would keep him from being recorded.
And as he maintained this vigilance and gradually approached the building that intuitively seemed to carry the strongest aura of danger, he even felt a little sense of accomplishment. Looks like I have quite a talent for infiltration too. If I ever lose my job...
At that thought, he suddenly became wary. How could he think like that?
People who could make use of the talent for hiding usually did not have very respectable jobs...
