East Coast.
"Everyone, stay sharp!"
The eternally burning flames turned the frigid ice sheet into flowing liquid. Scalding river water surged out of the forest, crashing toward the plains at the estuary.
Trenches had long since been dug here to keep the river from changing course. Moreover, under the influence of Kraken's projection, the flowing water smoothly entered the area where the docks stood.
On the elevated wooden platforms to either side, sailors nervously steadied the swaying ships. Though they were sailors, none of them dared entertain the thought of entering the water.
They remained on utmost alert. Falling into the water now meant certain death; no one wished to endure the agony of being boiled alive.
Above the river, layer after layer, the boiling water gradually took on an orange-red hue. Surtr's bodily matter was precious, and its effects were equally remarkable. At the far end of the estuary, a group of Mages chanted. Their magic gathered in the void, only to be controlled by a raven. Liv floated in midair, flipping through the Book of Knowledge until it finally stopped on a hazy page. Countless strange, shifting patterns formed writing that only Mages could understand.

The forbidden magic [Boundary and Limit] created an impassable gulf that prevented extraordinary forces from ever touching. After observing how war would erupt whenever Divine Kingdoms of great beings came into contact, Liv had created this magic based on the invisible "national borders" that existed between Divine Kingdoms. Her talent was simply unmatched.
Nor was this meant to stop
