Gerald Noble Territory.

After the war ended, Gerald Noble Territory finally welcomed long-awaited peace. Years of war had left the people here weary of slaughter and fighting. As long as they were not being sent to war, their tolerance for everything else had risen considerably.

For example, many of Gerald's people now had to cross different regions every day to transport supplies.

This was the center of resource transfer. Resources arriving from the Empire passed through Gerald before being sent into the lands of the Corland Kingdom.

The emergence of Ryan's Vault meant that the Corland Kingdom and the Empire were no longer cut off from one another.

The massive influx of economic trade into the Corland Kingdom had an incredibly terrifying impact on this land.

Even the nobles themselves had never expected that the various products from the Northlands would crush their lower-level trade in such a short time.

The only reason it had not yet become a disaster was that the nobles' territories had remained isolated and closed off, with almost no exchange between them in the past.

That was also why the wealth of Corland Kingdom's nobles could not compare to that of Imperial Nobles.

The tools and seeds from the Empire far surpassed those of the Corland Kingdom in both quality and variety.

Among the lower classes of the Corland Kingdom, most people did not own a second set of clothes, while some did not even have a first. One reason was their lack of sufficient wealth; the other was that the kingdom's basic productive capacity was utterly inadequate.

All the good things were concentrated in the nobles' hands. As for the nobles, Ryan sometimes felt that their standards for good things were rather low.

They wanted everything they saw.

This created two extremes of wealth.
