The Northlands had finally stopped snowing, but the temperature had not risen much.

The alchemists created terrifying disasters in front of the fortress. The poisoned Snow Plains were filled with potent toxins; Orcs often turned into skeletons while running, then swiftly melted into bloody water.

But this disaster was limited. As the poison thinned out, the vast Orc Army behind them merely felt unwell before charging up to the fortress, where they were shot dead by a hail of arrows. The burly Orcs tried to smash themselves into the fortress walls, only to be pinned beneath them by massive ballista bolts.

When the Orcs began to fearfully retreat, their true enemies appeared. The charge of the powerful Werewolves and the strong Orc tribes at their side was the real battle the soldiers had to face.

"Don't be afraid! Don't fear! Ryan watches over us!"

Knights galloped across the high walls on horseback, shouting at the top of their lungs. The soldiers gripped their spears tightly, their eyes occasionally turning toward the knights around them.

The knights were fully armed, clad in heavy armor, spears slung across their backs and greatswords at their waists, longbows held in both hands. The instant the countless Orcs below the Great Wall Fortress entered their range, cold vambraces rose, and strength capable of crushing boulders drew the bowstrings taut.

Then, at a certain moment, the horns sounded. Every arrow streaked through the sky like flowing light, blanketing the land of the Northlands. Enchanted arrows sent Orcs crashing down
