War Between the World and the Deities, Slaughter Between Mortals and Followers
As the seawater grew more turbulent, only extraordinary vessels like the Crow Ships could possibly withstand it. With the Knight Retainers shouting orders, the initial fear gave way as tens of thousands began climbing aboard the Witch Crow Ships.
As the waves became increasingly terrifying, the Crow Ships began to sway as well. The small boats still on the surface were overturned one after another. Many watched painfully as planks bobbed amid the waves, carrying much of their belongings with them.
"Is anyone here who knows how to steer a ship?!"
A knight shouted. The people aboard looked at one another. As for steering ships, they were probably all familiar with it.
"Bring the Witch Crow Ship closer to that large ship!"
The knight pointed at a Crow Ship—the very one that had once carried over a thousand Wizard Crows.
Ryan was on that ship as well. His gaze fell beneath the churning waters. He could see monsters emerging from the depths, boring through the small boats amid the waves. Now, they had gathered beneath the Crow Ships, trying to pierce those as well.
Ryan had no good way to stop the monsters beneath the surface. His soldiers could not fight creatures underwater.
However, the Wizard Crows had not come unprepared. Ryan's appearance was merely the icing on the cake of their long-prepared plan. Just like the Legendary Mage Aven, without him, the Wizard Array would merely have activated a few days later.
The cries of crows gradually rang clear across the sky. The projection of the deity beneath the deep sea was not the only thing capable of making the ocean boil. As Wizard Crows of this world, they could do the same.
