Within the first hour of meeting, the students from the two Knight Academies had already developed an intense dislike for one another.
Naturally, the matter was set aside for the time being.
"In the Northlands, our rule is that soldiers' weapons are not to be displayed lightly, lest they be targeted or affected in battle."

Brandt had originally offered an explanation, but hearing this, he too became somewhat displeased and frowned. Kaz beside him laughed.
"Why did I just hear someone insulting the honor of Northlands noble bloodlines?"
"That must have been a misunderstanding."
"Indeed. Since Joanie appeared as a knight, physical contact was unavoidable. Besides, no serious offense was committed."
And so the matter ended, though it seemed to have also set the tone for both sides.
"Then let us see when we can hold an 'exchange.' I am also very curious what sort of knight students the nobles of the Northern Lands have produced."
Adebayor spoke with a smile, turning the page on the matter, but no one could answer his question.
The exchange between the Imperial Knight Academy and the Northern Kingdom Knight Academy had already ceased to be something they themselves could decide from the moment the subject was raised.
Those true noble lords intended to use this matter as a pretext for political struggle. This included the families behind those present. Many of the students had also received orders from the nobles of their bloodlines, and some harbored entirely different purposes.
As for when it would begin, that was no longer up to them.
