Oren City Ruins.
An army of tens of thousands was stationed upon this empty land. There had once been a city before them—or so Brandt had heard everyone say.
But now, all that remained were scattered ruins and broken stones everywhere. No weeds grew here, and a faint black aura still lingered over the surface. The power of the Abyss affected this place at every moment.
The Armored Bear Legion had vanished here, because there was nowhere else they could have gone. Yet Brandt had never been able to find any trace of them. No matter what method he used, he could not tear open a passage into that unseen void.
"Commander Brandt, the Obsidian and fire oil from the Sera Kingdom have been delivered."
Garick came to Brandt's side. The weather was gradually turning colder, and the morning wind against his face lent him a firmer air. This commander of the Corland Kingdom Legion had been exhausted in body and mind these past days. Commanding a massive army was far more draining than he had imagined.
"Mm."
Brandt nodded and looked ahead before saying,
"Pour it in."
"Pour it in?"
Garick looked ahead, deeply puzzled.
But Brandt had already moved. The Legendary Knight leaped into the sky. Amid the rumbling drums, silver-white light gathered around his fists. More than ten seconds later, Brandt descended from the heavens and crashed heavily into the ruins of Oren City.
Dust rushed toward them. Fortunately, the soldiers at the front all wore face guards lined with burlap filters. The ground shook violently. Through the blurred haze of dust, Garick could only see a wild figure continuously smashing the earth. The full strength of a Legendary Knight was being unleashed upon land that could not resist at all.
The ground endured an immense impact.
