Dawn Holy Mountain.
So long as it had anything to do with faith, Dawn Holy Mountain was certain to have a presence.
When the emperor of the empire was also going to be crowned Grand Pope of Light, the atmosphere on the holy mountain was heavy. They absolutely did not wish to see the emperor of the empire profane the faith of the Lord of Dawn.
Pain and resentment filled the clergy on the holy mountain. They did not understand why the esteemed Pope would allow such a thing to happen at the heights of the holy mountain, within the supreme church.
The holy mountain might not have been the tallest peak on Norris Continent, but with the existence of the Supreme Cathedral, it was certainly the highest point in the world.
Here, one needed only lift one's head gently to see stars filling the sky. It was so whether by day or by night.
Of course, all the stars were nothing more than adornments to the sun. The more dazzling they were, the more they set off the sun's glory.
Today, countless clergy gathered together inside the Supreme Cathedral, standing with grave expressions as they looked at the seated figure above them—Pope Solarian.
The Church of Dawn had changed. It had undergone an incomparably enormous change, but only those present were qualified to know of it.
Only they knew how many rotten clergy within the Church of Dawn had died in places the sunlight could not reach during the short span of the past year, and how many departments whose names could not even be spoken had been streamlined.
Too many bishops and archbishops had vanished. Too many elders had fallen silent without a sound. Too many fanatical believers had finally gained the chance to serve the great Lord.
