The Holy Son of Dawn arrived just as the war descended into utter chaos. Expatio had one arm torn off by dragon claws, while the Imperial Army rampaged through the bewildered Dawn Believers. In less than two hours, the earth ran red with blood, and the streams and rivers turned crimson.
"They're here."
Count Clayton looked at the Holy Son of Dawn in the sky, assessing how many people he had brought.
There were quite a few. The ones flying in the sky were all high-level extraordinary beings, but that was not enough to change the course of the war. At most, they could save Expatio. Therefore, Count Clayton did not give the order to withdraw.
"Before their reinforcements can assemble, crush this army of a hundred thousand as thoroughly as possible!"
Once he dealt with the tens of thousands of troops before him, he would turn around and handle Archbishop Dean over in the Valley of Mist. The Imperial Legions held an enormous advantage right now, and just then, a scout returned.
"Commander, we've discovered a large force of Holy Light Knights charging in from the south!"
"How is that possible? No sound?"
Count Clayton raised his head. If there were a large number of cavalry, his legendary senses should have detected the tremors in the ground long ago. Yet even now, he had sensed nothing.

Count Clayton recalled what Aatrox had encountered in the Valley of Mist. That was the only explanation. The Lord of Dawn's power could cleanse all evil—and conceal everything.
