"Something actually managed to pierce my kingdom."
Solarian gripped the arrow in his hand, feeling somewhat moved, and somewhat unwilling to accept it. The overwhelming tide of Extraordinary Legion knights left his emotions surging; power comparable to that of a god was intoxicating.
This arrow made him realize that he was still not a truly great existence.
He had not yet escaped the bounds of the world.
"What a pity. Even with the power of a dead god, you are still a mortal."
Solarian looked at Count Clayton and shook his head. In the next instant, a purplish-red blade descended from the sky.
Ryan's expression was grave. Silently, his spiritual domain spread outward, and he reached into the void, drawing out a sharp blade and slashing upward.
A blazing roar sent layers of shock waves rolling in every direction. Only when the clouds and smoke dispersed did Ryan lift his head and look at Solarian.
"Surrounded like this, and you still have time to spare?"
Ryan sneered. Solarian might be invincible, but he was also surrounded by the four great Extraordinary Legions. He was not locked onto, yet he did not dare come out at all. "A god without authority, hiding in some unknown void—do you dare appear before the imperial army?"
Ryan continued to mock him, and Solarian's gaze turned cold.
"You seem rather helpless against a mortal who blasphemes the gods."
This Pope was more terrifying than imagined, yet not as powerful as imagined. He was wary of the existence of The Sun.
Ryan's words stirred Solarian's emotions. Although he was waiting for more subjects to be born within the Divine Kingdom, a god sealed off by mortals could hardly be called a great existence.
The power in his hands grew even more vast and terrifying. Solarian hesitated.
