"Where did those people come from?"
After suffering losses because of poor intelligence, the elves had made up for that weakness. Through the vision of magical creatures and the mobility of the Elven Rangers, Ophelia even knew clearly that Ryan no longer had any army stationed in Oren City.
He could not possibly have reinforcements.
Yet now, human reinforcements had appeared.
Several thousand men. That was not a small number, though it was not enough to make the elven army fear them. But the boost in morale those thousands brought to the human army, and... the addition of those thousands, made Ophelia uncertain whether he could still crush them.
He had to win, push these human armies out of the forest, then utterly crush the humans on the battlefield beyond the forest. Once those two steps were complete, The Woodlands' army would march straight into the Florian Empire, and the elves had plenty of ways to cross that ridge.
Ophelia watched the battlefield. He could not judge which side held the advantage at that moment.
"I hope this army isn't Extraordinary."
Ryan could not tell either which way the scales of war were tipping. On the battlefield now, monsters and beasts roared, dragons and eagles bellowed, Treants coiled around Dragonkin Warriors, and elves leaped into the humans' battle formations. Towering trees cut off most lines of sight, and also became the support against the backs of some clever soldiers.
The clash of Legendaries was deafening. There were still more elven Legendaries on this battlefield, but it was not easy for a Legendary to lose. As long as they did not die, the outcome of the war still lay with the Extraordinary Legion.
