Across the vast land of The Wilds, two mighty armies ran over the earth, dust and smoke rumbling up around them, and at the center of those two armies, Legendary power was displayed in this world without restraint.
The fragile Wilds simply could not withstand Legendary power. Looking at the cracked earth, Ryan realized his earlier judgment had been wrong.
This world... was not as peaceful as he had imagined. It seemed as if The Sun had driven away the cold of the Northlands, giving this world a surface-level normality, but beneath that surface, it had already rotted.
As the origin of the world, earth, water, wind, and fire had long since become unbearably fragile, and the battle between the Legendary figures before him was the best example.
If this were the Norris Continent, the destruction caused by Legendary abilities would definitely be smaller. The world's source power would instinctively resist the destructive force, and might even form a slight internal repair.
But here, upon The Wilds... the split earth was instead expanding, the inside collapsing, and the caving soil and stone told Ryan that this world was not so wonderful.
And...
This world should never have given birth to Legendary power.
Ryan raised his head and glanced at The Sun in the sky. Was it relying on its power to support this world all on its own?
The power of the two Legendary figures was still erupting. Neither Tofen nor Liam was holding back, but gradually, the difference in advantage and disadvantage still emerged. Tofen was at a disadvantage?
Liam's Legendary Boon came from The Sun, with Archbishop Adriana as the intermediary, but Tofen was a hero who had inherited the remnants of Simongati's Deities.
Watching the movements on the battlefield, Ryan found the answer.
Tofen could not fly.
