"Let them in, thank you." Yang Xiao nodded, and the nurse left with a smile.
A few seconds later, Shota Aizawa entered with Denki Kaminari, Tenya Iida, Izuku Midoriya, and Ochaco Uraraka.
Yang Xiao was somewhat surprised to see Shota Aizawa. Aizawa did not appear to have suffered any serious injuries; only his legs were wrapped in bandages.
Under normal circumstances, Shota Aizawa's eyes and head should have sustained severe injuries, and he would not have recovered without a lengthy period of treatment. Yet he seemed to be in fairly good condition now.
"Yang Xiao, you look more bedraggled than your teacher," Shota Aizawa joked, a rare occurrence. He knew Yang Xiao was not so fragile inside. What he needed now was optimism, or his condition would only worsen.
"Teacher, everyone, have a seat." Yang Xiao nodded with a bitter smile.
"Yang Xiao, these are fruits and nutritional supplements we bought for you." Tenya Iida placed the items beside Yang Xiao's hospital bed so he could reach them easily.
"Hahaha..." Yang Xiao gave a dry laugh and looked at everyone. "I've actually become like an old man. I need nutritional supplements now."
No one found his words funny. They all felt sorry for him.
"Recovery Girl said that as long as you get sufficient nutrition and trace elements every day, you can stay alive," Denki Kaminari said as he looked at Yang Xiao. He did not feel good about it either.
"But merely staying alive is all I can do. I'm useless now." Yang Xiao spoke with vacant eyes.
"Yang Xiao, who did you encounter? How could he injure you so badly?" Shota Aizawa asked with a frown. He had never encountered anything like this before.
"Zheng Yingshan from the League of Villains. I don't know his exact background. I
