"How is it not my dog?" The man's tone clearly hardened as he stared coldly at Yang Xiao. "My dog has been missing for several days, so it's normal for it to be dirty and skinny. Why are you meddling so much?"

"Oh, you say it's your dog? Then call it and see if it answers you." Yang Xiao suddenly smiled, looking meaningfully at the man.

The man's face darkened as he stared at Yang Xiao. "Are you looking for trouble? Didn't your family teach you not to meddle in other people's business? Is my business something you can interfere with?"

"As long as you call it and it responds, I'll leave right away. How about that?" Yang Xiao said bluntly, calmly looking at the man before him. Huahua, meanwhile, seemed frightened. She stood there helplessly, looking pitifully at Yang Xiao and the man.

"Fine, you said it!" The man was clearly angry. He had done this sort of thing many times. When dogs heard someone calling to them, most of them would respond.

So he turned to Huahua and called to her gently, "Xiao Bai, shall we go home?"

"Xiao Bai?" Yang Xiao burst out laughing. The dog had indeed been white before getting dirty, but that did not mean she should be called Xiao Bai. Such a common name was far too tacky. He could not believe the man had come up with it.

After all, Huahua was a pretty good breed of dog. She was called a Butterfly-eared Dog, a Babylonian Dog, or a Butterfly Dog. Naturally, her owner would not have given her such a common name as Xiao Bai.

Seeing Yang Xiao mock him, the man grew irritated and said a few more words to the dog. However, Huahua ignored him completely, making his anger flare.

"See? She isn't paying any attention to you. You should just give it up." Yang Xiao curled his lip, then turned to Huahua. "Huahua, come here."

When Huahua heard Yang Xiao call her name, she was confused at first, then walked toward him.

"See? Isn't she coming over?" Yang Xiao beckoned to Huahua, and she immediately ran over.

"Are you determined to make trouble for me? You think I don't dare lay a hand on you?" The man's expression turned ugly. The dog's name was undoubtedly Huahua, but he did not believe she belonged to this guy. She was most likely the dog of someone he knew, or perhaps a friend's dog.

But so what? There were no cameras in this alley. By the time anyone called the police, he would have already fled with the dog. Who would be able to catch him?

Yang Xiao knew the guy was about to use force, but he was not nervous. He merely looked at him and said, "Aren't you afraid there might be cameras here? Or that this isn't safe?"

"Hahaha... I think you're the one who's unsafe." The man sneered. "There aren't any cameras here, and there aren't many pedestrians either. Since you've meddled in my business today, I don't mind teaching you a lesson on behalf of your parents. Maybe then you'll learn not to stick your nose where it doesn't belong!"

"Then that's easy." Yang Xiao looked as if he had suddenly understood. Since there were no cameras, he did not need to worry about being filmed and exposing his strength.

Of course, dealing with someone like this would not require much of his strength. His physical power alone was probably enough. If he used his Quirk, Yang Xiao was afraid he might kill the man.

"What do you mean, easy?" The man looked at Yang Xiao in confusion. "Are you regretting meddling now?"

Yang Xiao gave a cold chuckle and looked at him disdainfully. "You think you're worthy of making me regret anything?"

"You're asking for death!" The man rushed at Yang Xiao, his right forearm turning dark blue.

Yang Xiao immediately picked up Huahua and sidestepped, dodging the man's punch. After setting Huahua down, he said to her, "Stay here. I'll take you home in a moment."

Whether Huahua understood or not, he charged at the man as soon as he finished speaking. Holy Light covered his right fist as he punched toward the man's stomach.

"Not bad, kid. You actually dare fight back?" The man was inexplicably shocked. This brat had not only dodged his attack, but was actually trying to hit him back. Ridiculous!

The man had no intention of dodging Yang Xiao's punch. He threw a punch straight at Yang Xiao's fist instead. He wanted Yang Xiao to see whose fist was harder.

With this punch, the brat's hand might break. He did not care whether it left any lasting damage. The brat had brought it on himself.

Bang!

"Aah!"

The man suddenly cried out in pain. There was a cracking sound from his right hand. It had actually broken!

When Yang Xiao's fist had collided with his, he had felt a cold force within the man's punch. This guy's Quirk leaned toward the yin and cold side, unlike his Holy Light. It probably only worked through his right or left hand.

Yang Xiao had covered his entire fist in Holy Light and used fifty percent of his strength. That alone had broken the man's hand. It showed just how powerful Holy Light was, though it also came from his tireless training over the past few days.

Hard work always paid off. Now he understood his own strength. Dealing with someone like this would not be a problem.

Perhaps this man was capable of handling ordinary people. He was the sort with a mediocre Quirk, but this man's Quirk was clearly suited for combat, and his fighting strength was not low either.

"How did you do that?" The man held his right hand, which hung limply at his side, unable to move.

He truly could not understand why a teenager was so powerful. Moreover, when their fists had collided, he had been unable to figure out what the other's Quirk was. It had felt like striking an iron wall charging forward with unstoppable momentum, shattering his hand.

"Don't you already know how I did it? Isn't it obvious?" Yang Xiao sneered. "I'm only teaching you a lesson. People in your line of work are hated by everyone. Change professions. Otherwise, next time it won't just be a broken bone. You might lose your hand."

The man gave Yang Xiao a deep look, then turned and ran without saying a word. Yang Xiao had returned his earlier words to him intact. If he did not leave now, when would he?

Yang Xiao did not chase after him. He had only wanted to teach the guy a lesson and test the results of his training. Both goals had been achieved, so why chase him?

What Yang Xiao worried about was the force behind this guy. If that group started looking for him, it would be troublesome. At the very least, Yang Xiao did not want to draw too much attention.

He had had no choice in today's matter. He had to handle the Problem Solver's mission. Huahua had only been found after so long. If he had backed down, he would have let this man get away with it.

Sometimes, one had to set aside certain principles and do what was right. Keeping a low profile was Yang Xiao's current intention, but that did not mean he would still choose to stay low-key and ignore more important matters. That was not who he was.

Doing what he believed was most meaningful and right was what he held fast to in his heart.
