Well, today let's talk about Yae Sakura.
Gentle and refined—that was my first impression of her when I played Honkai Impact 3rd.
Back then, I personally preferred characters with personalities like Yae's and Yae Sakura's, so there was no question that both of them stayed on my bridge for a long time.
Especially Yae—I kept her there from launch until I got Yae Sakura, and only then did I switch them.
That seems a little off topic, so let's get back to Yae Sakura.
Yae Sakura's story was the most tragic part of her life, but also the most brilliant, and it brought her life as a girl to an end.
As you can see from the chapters I've written before and the ones I'm about to post, Yae Sakura was actually a very typical, well-behaved girl who followed the rules.
In ancient times, women did not easily reveal their feelings, because the major decisions in their lives were often made by their parents.
Yae Sakura, bound to the title of "miko," had already sacrificed much for Yae Village. And because she was estranged from her father, he naturally could not decide the major matters of her life.
So when Kallen broke into her heart, the two of them formed this bond through a twist of fate.
Five hundred years of sleep were not for nothing. Being able to face her feelings and voice them may well be one of the strengths of the Yae Sakura I wrote.
Anyway, no matter how I write little Yae, she's mine. Don't you dare try to take her! (If you do, I'll start sobbing!)
