Background / History

Theresa entered the Babylon Experiment Tower during the Second Honkai War and fought Sirin. Though her strength was comparable to that of a decent S-rank Valkyrie, Sirin overwhelmed her; Theresa survived because Sirin mistook her childlike appearance for that of another Schicksal experiment. Dr. Einstein later taught her to use the Divine Key's tracking function, allowing her to locate the Second Herrscher's hiding place 26.

As head of the Apocalypse family and principal of St. Freya, Theresa oversees an academy that trains girls to fight Honkai. She recruits Feng Chen after discovering his unusual Honkai Energy adaptability, though she remains wary once she learns he is a neutral Herrscher 69 72.

During the Simulated Herrscher incident, Theresa is saved by Feng Chen and Bella after being taken hostage and thrown from the sky. Bella's rescue forces her to reconsider her prejudice against Honkai Beasts, while Judas helps Feng Chen restrain the enemy's Honkai Energy 71 72. She subsequently accepts Feng Chen into St. Freya and works with Himeko to assess his potential 72 73.

Theresa repeatedly prioritizes her students over Schicksal protocol. She anxiously directs Kiana's Moonlight Throne mission, conceals Feng Chen's Herrscher identity in her official report, and attempts to enter the practical-exam arena when Yae's implanted bomb and Ganesha threaten the students. When Rita blocks her under Otto's orders, Theresa activates Blood Knight: Moonbeam's Execution Mode and destroys the monitoring room rather than remain passive 174 177 178 190.

A later Theresa from another world is revealed to have been created to sustain a Kallen clone by drinking blood and transferring victims' life force. After Feng Chen saves her from Kallen's attempt to end that cycle, Theresa begins to fear death and ultimately chooses to leave her world with him 299 303. Learning that Kallen is effectively the source of her Kaslana genes, she accepts that she had been used as a pawn and finds a new purpose in living alongside Feng Chen 304.

Appearance

Theresa has the appearance of an eleven- or twelve-year-old girl despite being over forty in her original-world incarnation 26 30.

  • Purple hair 227
  • Wine-red eyes 316
  • Often carries a massive golden cross, Judas' Covenant 30 190
  • Can develop sharpened fangs when Vishnu's genetic influence surfaces 316

Personality

Theresa presents herself as a responsible “little adult,” especially when directing missions or protecting St. Freya, but is easily flustered when called young or teased by Rita 69 174 182. She is fond of Hohom Adventure manga, eavesdrops out of curiosity, and is known to slack off at work 73 179.

Her strongest trait is her protectiveness. She worries over Kiana, Bronya, Yae, and Feng Chen, even when doing so puts her at odds with Schicksal or Otto's orders 177 190 192 193. She can also be impulsive and stubborn: when Ai-chan locks her inside the Hyperion for safety, Theresa immediately threatens to smash the door down with Judas 93.

The alternate-world Theresa initially lacks experience with ordinary life and is frightened by conflict, but gradually becomes determined to fight for the people she cares about. Her attachment to Feng Chen becomes a source of resolve, including when she resists Vishnu's influence rather than harm Bianca 302 312 316.

Abilities & Skills

S-rank Valkyrie Strength

Theresa possesses the physical power of an S-rank Valkyrie and immense natural strength, though much of her combat effectiveness depends on wielding Judas 26 30.

  • Can survive being thrown from the Hyperion without injury 30.
  • Independently killed an Emperor-class Honkai Beast early in her Valkyrie career 269.
  • Retains exceptional strength even without Judas, despite appearing physically childlike 26.
  • Her Kaslana inheritance is associated with innate monstrous strength 312.

Judas' Covenant

Judas' Covenant is the Eleventh Divine Key, also called the Key of Restraint. It can seal or suppress a target's Honkai Energy, making it especially dangerous to Herrschers 72 196 283.

  • Fires golden chains that bind targets and can form spear-like attacks 72 190.
  • Tracks Herrschers, which Theresa used to locate Sirin during the Second Honkai War 26.
  • Can suppress Honkai Energy; Sirin specifically identifies it as useful for containing Kiana's power 196.
  • Is treated as unusually autonomous: the weapon is described as the “true Valkyrie,” with Theresa serving as its launch platform 72.
  • Its full zeroth-rated power is dangerous to Theresa because sealing her own Honkai Energy deprives her Vishnu-modified body of essential “nutrients” 290.

Punishment Spear

Theresa can condense Honkai Energy into a white sphere and use the technique known as Punishment Spear 190.

  • Intended as a powerful attack against Rita 190.
  • She cancels it when Rita points out that using it at St. Freya would cause excessive destruction and panic among students 190.

Blood Knight: Moonbeam

Theresa can use the battlesuit Blood Knight: Moonbeam, including its Execution Mode 190.

  • Activating Execution Mode causes a destructive blast powerful enough to demolish St. Freya's monitoring room 190.
  • A version of the armor contains a program that restricts Vishnu's genetic influence 316.

Vishnu Genetic Traits

Vishnu's genes make Honkai Energy part of Theresa's body and allow her to sense blood with unusual accuracy 290 319.

  • Honkai Energy functions as nourishment for her modified body 290.
  • Under stress, Vishnu's influence can drive her toward bloodlust and attacking others 316.
  • She resists this influence by biting her own arm rather than feeding on Bianca 316.
  • Her Vishnu genes make her a potentially valuable target for the Serpent, which could exploit a Honkai Beast capable of growing by devouring its own kind 320.

Relationships

  • Feng Chen — Student and later close companion. Theresa recruits him into St. Freya, conceals his Herrscher identity from headquarters, and repeatedly worries over his safety; the alternate-world Theresa eventually chooses to leave her world with him 72 178 192 303.
  • Kiana Kaslana — Theresa's niece and student. Theresa scolds Kiana's recklessness but remains deeply concerned for her safety and future 174 177 190.
  • Himeko Murata — Fellow St. Freya staff member. Their relationship is playful and chaotic, including drinking together and Himeko throwing Theresa from the Hyperion 30 77.
  • Rita Rossweisse — An old acquaintance whose teasing consistently embarrasses Theresa. They clash over Otto's orders and the safety of St. Freya's students 182 190.
  • Kallen Kaslana — In the alternate world, Theresa calls a Kallen clone her sister, later learning that Kallen is effectively her genetic ancestor and the source of her Kaslana genes 299 304.
  • Bianca — Bianca trains the alternate-world Theresa in Imaginary Space and assists her combat development 312 316.
  • Ai-chan — Hyperion AI who considers Theresa too important to risk during the Chiyou operation, even locking her in the command room for protection 93.
  • Otto Apocalypse — Theresa's grandfather and Schicksal's Bishop. Theresa distrusts his ambitions and openly fears that he will discard people once they lose their usefulness 190 192.
