It was the story of how Schicksal's army marched east, only to be driven back by the immortals of the Divine Land.
In the year 1475 of the Honkai world, the armies of Schicksal and the Divine Land fought their final battle on the grasslands.
The two armies were evenly matched, locked in a fierce struggle. The Schicksal army, determined to win, decided to stop holding back. Disregarding the soldiers' safety, they deployed weapons powered by Honkai Energy that they had secretly developed.
At the risk of having their bodies corrupted by Honkai Energy, Schicksal's soldiers drew upon the forbidden power of those weapons, causing the scales of victory to tip toward Schicksal once more. Yet at that moment, or rather, appeared.
No one knew their identities. All they knew was that the soldiers of the Divine Land greatly respected them and called them . Legend had it that throughout the long years, they had silently protected this land from the ravages of the Honkai.
One of them wore a mask, so no one could see his true face or know what expression lay beneath it.
But none of that mattered. What mattered was the other person—a girl with pale red hair. Before her, the Honkai power wielded by Schicksal's army was utterly helpless and was easily shattered. With the girl joining the battlefield, the tide of battle was instantly reversed.
Why was this happening? Schicksal's knights pondered the question. They clearly possessed such powerful strength, while their enemy's warriors were nothing more than mere humans to them. Why, then?
