"Riot, surrender. I'll hand you over to the police. You are not allowed to hurt anyone else."
Spider-Man crawled down the side of the building upside down and sternly warned Venom, who was stuck to the wall by his webbing.
"Wait, Pe—Spider-Man, I'm not Riot. I'm going to save someone."
As Venom defended himself, half his face opened up, revealing Anne Weying beneath.
The lawyer hurriedly shouted as well. "That's right, Spider-Man. You have to believe Venom. He isn't the Riot you're talking about, and we're going to save Eddie Brock."
Seeing a woman enveloped by a Symbiote, yet hearing no coercion or cries for help in her voice, Spider-Man crawled closer. Still hanging upside down, he looked at the humanoid Symbiote stuck to the wall without making any further move.
"What's going on here? Are you two different? How am I supposed to tell you apart? And do I know you?"
Another barrage of questions left Anne Weying irritated. "Spider-Man, do we really have to slowly explain all this right now? Didn't I say I was going to save someone?"
With one hand stuck to the wall, Spider-Man flipped himself upright to speak normally with Venom and Anne Weying. "I know. Saving Mr. Brock. What happened to him? Why does he need saving? Wouldn't calling the police be better?"
When it came to dealing with people, Anne Weying was clearly better at it than Venom. She rattled off, "Eddie was taken by people from the Life Foundation, but I have no evidence, and they weren't caught in the act. By the time the police are willing to act, it might be too late.
"If you doubt us, you can come along and help while you're at it. If you don't believe us, let us down and stop getting in
