At the front gates of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters in Westchester County, the mutant school had changed its name back. Even during summer vacation, there were still people inside.
Aside from the X-Men, who used the place as their base, some of the children had parents who could not accept mutants. They would rather stay at school with others in the same situation than go home.
The children staying at school were not allowed to spend all their time playing around, either. Professor X had still arranged some classes for them to participate in and learn from. Right now, a group of children was playing basketball on the court.
Green Arrow Duck did not barge straight in. Instead, he stood outside the iron gates and rang the bell.
"Who is it?"
"An old acquaintance here to see Mr. Charles Xavier." Green Arrow Duck answered in an electronic voice, as usual.
No one answered over the intercom. A moment later, however, the iron gates opened on their own. The Duck Leopard armor-Duck Type was not a mecha suited to walking, so Green Arrow Duck used the Micro-hover System to glide inside as though he were skating.
Green Arrow Duck also noticed that the younger children and those who liked to join in the excitement had left their basketball game and were now clinging to the wire fence. "Look, it's Donald Duck!" "Are the teachers having Donald Duck put on a show today?"
Good thing I didn't have Kitty wear the Duck Leopard armor-Leopard Type and come along. Otherwise, I'd have had to make it roar and give those little brats a scare.
