  • Poliwhirl and Electivire traded final punches in a midair explosion, knocking Poliwhirl out and leaving Electivire injured.
  • Raisu sent Drapion against Forretress, but Forretress’s Defense Curl-boosted Rollout defeated Drapion after a prolonged exchange.

  • Accelgor used its boosted speed and Mud Shot to evade Electivire until Toxic weakened Electivire and it fainted, securing Yu Hai the Indigo League Championship.
  • Yu Hai left the stadium on Pelipper, had his injured Pokémon treated at the Pokémon Center, and resolved to return to the Orange Islands soon rather than risk accepting Mewtwo’s invitation.
