Fire Shattering Dragon was a skill Vezavimon used in his third phase, only when he had three or more targets' aggro.
He plunged the long blade in his hand into the ground and randomly selected a target with aggro. A pillar of flames in the shape of a fire dragon would erupt from beneath that target.
As for Ash Blizzard, it was a combo skill for Fire Shattering Dragon—or rather, its second stage.
If Fire Shattering Dragon failed to hit its target, it would rise into the air and turn into black smoke, forming a five-meter-radius encirclement centered on the point where Fire Shattering Dragon had erupted, then rapidly contracting.
Players engulfed by the black smoke would suffer the effect of "death by suffocation."
And since this was a virtual reality game, it perfectly simulated death by suffocation. Compared to being directly cut down, it was far more likely to leave severe psychological trauma.
But that was not even the most outrageous part. The current Vezavimon could not only unleash all sorts of skills without interruption.
After using a full sequence of Wind Break, Thunder Chime, Great Time Transformation, Nyudo Cloud, Fire Shattering Dragon, and Ash Blizzard, he would also unleash his strongest ultimate—Great Heavenly Conquest: Sunny Day!
This was an extravagant overhead slash combining Instant Death, armor piercing, equipment destruction, magic penetration, skill penetration, unavoidable targeting, and all manner of other effects.
Even though Seiya's awareness and control had both been pushed to their limits, he was still killed in a single blow!
When Sunny Day was unleashed, the player's feet would be fixed in place and restrained. In other words, there was almost no third possibility beyond taking it head-on or dying.
