"Mr. Onmyoji, what exactly are these Skeleton Warriors that can move?" Song Haoran asked casually, though he tightened his grip on a shotgun.
The passage was narrow and elongated, making it a one-way street battle. If he did not use a divine weapon like a shotgun at a time like this, something had to be wrong with his brain... Of course, a submachine gun would work too.
"This should be some sort of corpse-controlling technique." Suzuki Chunxin said calmly, "However, the corpses of these warriors decayed into nothing but bones long ago, so they took on the appearance of skeletons."
The Skeleton Warriors before them advanced step by step. Song Haoran raised his brows and said, "This imperial tomb is impressive. These things... have been here continuously for two thousand years?"
Suzuki Chunxin suddenly frowned. "No. These Skeleton Warriors were probably created only recently. They are completely different from the living dead in the previous tomb chambers."
Song Haoran did not ask why Suzuki Chunxin had judged that the Skeleton Warriors had only recently been created. Instead, he thought of a possibility. "Young Master Suzuki means... someone is causing trouble in the main tomb chamber ahead?"
"That is possible." Suzuki Chunxin nodded, secretly puzzled as well. An ordinary imperial tomb, even one
