Ren Ziling took the lead and found a place where they could sit down and drink milk tea. At home, she basically never got to eat any junk food. Anything high in sugar or calories was practically nonexistent anywhere in the house where food could be hidden.
Granny Ren had already passed thirty and completely let herself go, so she no longer cared much about her figure. She happily ordered a large caramel-flavored one.
Akiko paid the bill.
Ren Ziling's professional integrity as a gossip immediately showed itself. Instead of sympathizing with the dancing girl, she was angry at her for being so hopeless. "What? You two got together after only knowing each other for a few days? My God, you actually believed in love at first sight between people from different countries and places? Girl, you're far too young. Didn't you ever consider that he might just be fooling around?"
"He... He isn't that kind of person."
Ren Ziling shook her head. From a woman's perspective, she felt it necessary to wake the girl up a little... But the girl was truly devoted. She had traveled thousands of miles to find a scumbag, arriving in a strange place with no relatives, exhausting all her money. Not only had she failed to find him, she had even been forced to sleep on the streets and earn a little living money with her talents. Yet even so, she had never thought of leaving. That alone was truly admirable.
Looking at the girl's worried, heartbroken expression, Ren Ziling could not help sighing inwardly.
Akiko quietly waved to her, signaling her to come over. Ren Ziling frowned, said something to the girl, and then walked over to Akiko.
"Sister Ren, what are you planning to do about her?"
"I'm still thinking about it."
