For a moment, Chen Mingming felt that it might be a good thing if the car could drive a little slower, or if the destination were a little farther away.
The father and son chatted idly in the car.

Wang Liang's rented apartment had been sealed off long ago. Zhou Yusheng tore the seal open without a word and walked inside. Chen Mingming, however, subconsciously remained outside the door, looking thoughtful.
Zhou Yusheng turned back curiously. "Did you notice something?"
Chen Mingming subconsciously shook his head, then walked into the apartment. The body in the freezer had long since been removed, but the freezer itself had not been moved. Nothing else in the apartment had been touched either, and everything still looked exceptionally neat.
Zhou Yusheng had already visited the scene several times and had found no new clues. If Chen Mingming had not suggested taking another look, he probably would not have returned anytime soon.
The air inside was somewhat stuffy, so Zhou Yusheng went straight over and opened the window. He was not worried about damaging the scene. After all this time, the forensic team had already collected anything of value.
According to the forensic technicians, when they arrived at the scene, they could not find a single usable fingerprint. The apartment was so clean that it looked as though it had been scrubbed inside and out with disinfectant.
But this was Chen Mingming's first time
