He turned back to the people inside. His expression had barely changed, but his eyes seemed to hold a trace of confusion, as well as... tension.

Yet soon, he leaned toward the crack once more.

For a long while, he said nothing.

"W-what exactly is outside? You... say something!" Maria couldn't help calling out softly.

Norman slowly moved his gaze away again, then retreated step by step... his movements just as silent as before.

He returned to the group and met their gazes. Only after a long moment did he force out, "I... I don't know what it is either.
