But this clearly wasn't the time for Da Zhe to dwell on who Nero really was... or why he felt a strange sense of familiarity. The pressure emanating from Master Musashi made Da Zhe tense every muscle in his body.
"Master Musashi, you're the guardian here. Isn't it inappropriate to fight here?" Da Zhe frowned. He had a strange feeling that Black Soul Fuxi had given him the Throne Emblem not to make things convenient for him, but plainly to stir up trouble!
"Don't worry. Eternal Night Palace can repair itself automatically." Master Musashi slowly drew Hōki Province Yasutsuna from his waist. "I just need to feed a few more Void Origin Demons to the plaza floor."
Unexpectedly, Da Zhe slowly let out a breath. Then he did something that left Musashi utterly astonished and completely dumbfounded—he actually threw the Throne Emblem in his hand at him!
"What's this supposed to mean?" Musashi caught it instinctively and frowned.
Da Zhe said indifferently, "You want this thing? I'll just give it to you. No need to fight. I'm only a newbie, and I'm very weak. I can't take a beating."
Musashi's brows remained tightly furrowed. Only after a while did they slowly relax. He shook his head, then tossed the Throne Emblem back with a bored expression. "No fun, no fun. Come find me when you feel like fighting. I'll be right here in Eternal Night Palace."
"All right. Maybe next time." Da Zhe nodded seriously. Once I leave the Dimensional Gap, I absolutely won't come back in until I've figured out what's going on here... I've somehow gotten myself into a pile of inexplicable trouble. It would be much more comfortable to water the plants, trim the grass, and be a salted fish in the manor.
