Clearly, this wasn't something easy to understand... Perhaps it was merely this child's delusion, Hermes thought. But if this is just a foolish child, why would the King of the Underworld take Joe as his adopted son?
The question gave rise to countless doubts in Hermes's mind. Going by instinct, he subconsciously believed that every word Joe said was true.
But... a naughty big sister? Mr. Smith? Mr. Death?
Mr. Death must have been referring to the King of the Underworld... Had the King of the Underworld personally gone to the human world and brought this child to the Underworld? Could this child possess some special quality?
More and more questions drove Hermes to uncover the truth behind all this. Ever since he seized Mount Olympus from the Second Generation God King, this uncle who had become the King of the Underworld seemed to have always shown tremendous dissatisfaction with it.
"I'd like to see what secrets you're hiding..." Hermes stared straight into Joe's eyes.
Joe immediately felt dizzy. Then his consciousness went blank... As if he had lost awareness of his own body, his face quickly became vacant.
"Child, come over here and tell me what else the King of the Underworld said to you." Hermes whispered softly into Joe's ear.
But the envoy from Mount Olympus probably never would have imagined that everything this strange child knew had already been revealed... without the slightest concealment.
What he was doing now, however, had triggered some of the seals that the King of the Underworld had established when he decided to take Joe as his adopted son... At that moment, a phantom slowly emerged behind Joe.
Joe still looked dazed, but Hermes's expression changed slightly... Accompanying the phantom's emotions was the shadow of the King of the Underworld!
