Wonderwall.
Inside the dimly lit bar, with red brick walls and a black floor, the music playing wasn't particularly loud... It gave people a comfortable feeling.
Luo Qiu didn't actually enter bars very often... but it seemed he had still been there more times than Teacher Prin--at least, that was how it appeared to outsiders.
Teacher Prin was looking around the place with great interest, holding his glass in both hands. His head and body swayed slightly to the rhythm of the music... Most of the foam in his beer had already dissipated.
"Not as good as you imagined?" Luo Qiu suddenly asked.
Teacher Prin shrugged and answered, "It's strange. You never sound as though you're asking a question... Even though what you say is indeed a question, it always makes people want to answer. You have a very special ability, or perhaps... power."
Boss Luo smiled. He picked up the lemon slice the bartender had brought over and rubbed it around the rim of his glass... If Maid Miss had been here, this was probably something she would have done herself--he thought of You Ye's presence at every moment.
Luo Qiu couldn't help realizing how frightening such a habit could be... Not that it was a bad thing. This feeling of missing someone.
"Teacher has it too," Luo Qiu said quietly. "After we came in, the place clearly became quieter... The sound of their conversations also softened without anyone noticing."
It was indeed so. From the moment they entered, the bar patrons' voices had gradually dropped by one decibel after another--even the song performed by the live singer had become gentler...
