So many, so many Yamalana... What did "many" even mean?
It felt like a crate of life-sized wooden puppets had suddenly been dumped from a container—broken puppets, withered bones, severed limbs, rolling heads, rotting bodies, mummified corpses... and some that seemed to have died only recently.
Heaven knew how long they had been dead.
Naturally, it was impossible to tell what the withered bones had looked like, but among this enormous heap of corpses and bones, there were dozens of heads resembling Yamalana. That alone was enough to make anyone believe everything here had once been Yamalana.
Just how many were there in total?
Mr. Otto was shaken to the core by the sight. Very few things could truly astonish him—the metal room destroyed by the Magic Lamp seemed to be one of them.
"Your Highness... Your Highness? This..." The little maid was completely dazed, and a horrifying sensation crept over her.
The Magic Lamp stopped, frowning slightly. Perhaps it was an illusion, but it always felt that something had passed by it in that instant, bringing with it a strangely familiar sensation. Yet no matter how hard it tried, it could not remember what.
It seemed as though something had approached the heap of corpses.
Everyone's eyes were drawn to the exposed remains. The mysterious girl's expression suddenly turned cold. She lowered her head slightly, her hair veiling her gaze—but an even more dangerous feeling than before began to radiate from her.
The Magic Lamp sensed it, and its entire body tensed at once.
No one paid attention to Ibn, the mortal. His presence was probably the faintest among everyone there. It was not that they could not see him; compared with the people present, Ibn was simply too ordinary, too unremarkable, completely harmless and incapable of affecting anything.
