During the journey, they would encounter enemies, traps, towns, wandering merchants... and even characters who issued quests.

Combat and trap evasion had to be handled by the Servant itself. As for choices they encountered, purchases, and so on, those were decided by the Master.
After the first round of dice rolls ended, the Masters began the first round of life reduction, as well as drawing Function Cards.
Life reduction was inevitable—even if they rolled only 1, it would be multiplied by 10 and deducted... At most, as many as 60 life points would be deducted.
