A moment earlier, inside the Chessboard Space.
At the end of the canyon, Luo Qiu saw a figure standing there quietly... the Twin Maid, Maid Miss.
She stood silently in the wind, the ribbons tied into bows behind her clothes fluttering in the breeze... Her face held a calm smile.
This reminded Luo Qiu of a lotus growing in a lake... one that grew very low, almost pressed against the surface of the water.
He walked toward her and took the initiative to greet her. "Hello, Miss Tina. We meet again."
"You can recognize me?" Maid Miss blinked, seemingly curious... and studied him because of that curiosity.
"Why wouldn't I?" Boss Luo smiled. "I have a special knack for recognizing people."
"Very few people can distinguish Tiff and me at a glance." Maid Miss gently shook her head. "Because we always act together, even the people in the castle often can't tell us apart."
"If you want people to distinguish you, why not add some identifying marks?" Boss Luo said. "Miss Tina and Miss Tiff dress and style themselves almost identically... even their hairstyles are basically the same, so it's naturally very easy for people to confuse you. If possible, Miss Tina could wear a blue ribbon, while Miss Tiff could wear a pink one. I think that would prevent people from mistaking you."
"That sounds like a very good suggestion." Maid Miss smiled lightly. "If we get the chance, we'll consider it... I heard your Master intends to negotiate with my sister?"
"Most likely." Boss Luo nodded casually. "Basically, we all prefer solving problems without violence whenever possible."
"But your current appearance doesn't seem very convincing, sir." Maid Miss let out a delicate laugh.
What had she seen?
The black-haired, black-eyed young man was holding a golden, glittering sword.
