Only after drawing closer did they realize that the person lying on the tree roots was a woman. She wore clothes woven from fibrous threads made by twisting together vines, leaves, and the like.
Her pale green hair... slightly long, pointed ears, and delicate face.
"She looks exactly like the Forest Elf from the legends." Maid Tina sighed after taking one look. "This beauty doesn't seem human... But other than us, did any other Servants enter? Tiff told me that after we came in, only Mr. Snef followed us in?"
"She probably isn't a Servant." Doctor Gels thought for a moment before saying, "She should be a creature within Chessboard Space... This is probably the trigger point for some plotline... Those of you who've played games should know about so-called Plot Characters."
"So if we save her, she'll bring us some kind of benefit, right?" Maid Miss nodded. After thinking it over, she intended to open a Life Potion and feed it to the unconscious, elf-like woman who had been shot by an arrow. After all, these potions were no longer rare... She currently had five on her.
They were all leftovers she had picked up while following behind the temporary team leader.
"No need." Mr. Gers shook his head. "For creatures in Chessboard Space like this, potions have no effect whatsoever... They can only be treated through normal means, or with medicine created by creatures from Chessboard Space. Only those can take effect on them... There aren't any herbs nearby that can stop the bleeding... Hmm, Tina, help me support her."
As he spoke, he had Maid Miss help the injured woman sit up. Doctor Gels quickly drew his dagger, cut off the arrow shaft protruding from the woman's back, and then temporarily wrapped two strips of cloth around
