It was truly dazzling... so dazzling it seemed capable of scorching the soul.
Then, the armor's radiance abruptly vanished... The shift from the aurora's brilliance to utter darkness left Mr. Snef and Cardile unable to adjust. All they could see was that the place where Boss Luo stood seemed to be shrouded in darkness.
"Right? Since it's so flashy, it's more convenient to keep it hidden."
Mr. Snef subconsciously swallowed. He glanced at the somewhat battered leather bracers on his wrists, made from the wolves' lair... The only defensive equipment he had on him was this pair of leather bracers.
The next second, the leather bracers abruptly vanished. Mr. Snef rubbed his wrists and nodded casually. "Mm, indeed. It really isn't convenient to have this equipment showing."
In the distance, Cardile's legs were actually hidden in the grass... The leg armor on both feet quietly vanished as well. He raised his left foot, hooked it behind his right heel, and scratched it before standing properly again... Then he snorted coldly.
The tense atmosphere instantly returned.
After snorting, Cardile sneered. "Even the best armor has places it can't protect... You shouldn't have revealed your armor in front of an enemy. That's the same as exposing your weaknesses. Your throat, your eyes, your forehead... There are simply too many places I can shoot."
Boss Luo said nothing. He merely raised a hand and lightly tapped his forehead.
A crisp metallic clang suddenly rang out. "The helmet and armor are a set. Wearing the helmet would make it even flashier."
"Hmph. Even if you're fully armored, I don't believe you don't need to breathe... My arrows are
