Among the wreckage of the collapsed house, Cardile stared at Doctor Gels, who had fallen before his eyes. He froze at first, then frowned and nervously checked his surroundings, afraid the real Divine Envoy in Black Armor was hiding somewhere, waiting for a chance to strike.

But after waiting for a moment, nothing happened.

He had no choice but to walk over to the unconscious Doctor Gels and flip him over to check his condition... He was not quite dead. He was still breathing.

Cardile clearly had no mood to discuss such things with Gels. He grabbed Gels by the collar and roughly hauled him up. "Why did you become the Divine Envoy... Where is the real Divine Envoy?"

"I don't know either..." Doctor Gels gasped weakly. "Captain Malik captured and tortured me... Later, later I passed out. I don't remember what happened. Where is this place? Why am I here... And what happened? Why does my whole body feel like it's about to come apart?"
