Heaven and Earth as the Board, All Beings as Its Pieces... Who Will Count the Pieces in the End
No one would care about something happening in some obscure corner... Even if they knew what had happened here, they still would not care.
Because the world was experiencing the most terrifying event of all.
A huge black shadow completely blocked out the once-prosperous Royal Capital.
"What is this world going through?"
She silently gazed at the enormous white ape that blotted out the sky and sun... Perhaps because it was simply too massive, its fur, though clearly white, looked gray-black at this moment.
One step, then another... She seemed to be walking toward somewhere, moving very slowly... Ruins stretched out before her. If she had not lived here for many years and known everything so well, she might not have been able to find her way.
An old man who had fallen into a pool of blood lay in front of her, blocking her path.
The old man's expression was twisted. Even though he no longer breathed, his eyes were still bulging. His mouth hung wide open, as if he had tried to shout something before dying.
The old man's arm reached toward the sky, but he had failed to grasp anything.
This was an utterly despairing way to die... probably.
"What did your world go through, too?"
She only glanced at him before no longer paying attention--all her attention had fallen on the half of a pillar that remained before her.
Young Wally's body... his corpse, was still hanging from the half pillar by Sword Light.
She silently came before Young Wally and reached out both hands, lifting his face... Looking at that face with its eyes closed, still faintly retaining the innocence of youth, she smiled.
"Since you couldn't take me away from this world, then stay by my side forever." She spoke softly.
Her hands, cupping
