In the darkness of night, a figure moved swiftly, heading toward the Rose Mansion, where the lights shone.
The figure seemed quite familiar with the surrounding area. Before long, it reached the wall outside the Rose Mansion. With an easy leap, it planted a hand on the wall and flipped directly over it.
After landing, it rolled several times to disperse the impact, then quickly rose to its feet. It pressed close to a window near the mansion's main hall and quietly peered inside.
But soon, this wanderer of the night was startled by what was happening inside the mansion's hall.
By then, the blood of the beheaded militiaman had already spread into a small puddle. Inside the hall, the Burgundian cavalry radiated killing intent.
Meanwhile, the people on Mr. Jacques's side, who had been surrounded, all wore grim expressions.
"I'm Lyonbell, captain of the cavalry." The young knight at the head of the group sneered. "I'm sorry, but from now on, you're all my prisoners."
