Angel Langdu sat beneath a rock outside the monastery.
The white-robed young man had stayed inside the monastery somewhat longer than he had expected, and there was still no movement... But he was not anxious. What concerned him was something else.
Several ants had appeared on him.
The ants crawled out through cracks in the ground, then slowly made their way over until they climbed onto him... and onto his cheek.
He wondered when these ants would open their sharp jaws and bite down.
Once they bit him, he would have a reason to brush them away... and, further still, even a reason to stomp them to death seemed sufficient.
A faint stinging sensation suddenly came from his cheek. Without a word, Angel Langdu slapped his own face.
At that moment, the monastery gates slowly opened.
Smack!
The ants were not hit. They fell to the ground, while Angel Langdu had no time to care about them. He hurried forward to meet the white-robed young man as he came out.
Only the white-robed young man emerged from the gates... The person inside the monastery seemed to have no intention of appearing.
"Stop looking." The white-robed young man said indifferently, "She cannot easily leave this place."
Angel Langdu nodded. He knew about some things, but he did not know why they were that way... It was not a field he could come into contact with.
As they left, a figure appeared in the monastery's attic.
Angel Langdu instinctively looked back and saw the Nun standing on the attic, waving a handkerchief. She seemed to be saying that he should visit whenever he had time.
