Outside this enormous academy, large swaths of the city had been reduced to ruins. The colossal machine known as Azure Thunder stood amid the wreckage, with only half an arm remaining and serious damage covering most of its body.

The Ninety-Seventh's apostle had ultimately been defeated... There was no doubt that it had been a brutal battle.

"We did win." Scholar Calvin nodded and said calmly, "But Azure Thunder's pilot is about to be scrapped as well."

Ludik asked in astonishment, "You just said the pilot was a student at this school?"

Calvin said, "The school you're currently in is one of the three schools in this world specifically established to train pilots for combat machines like Azure Thunder... Otherwise, why do you think an ordinary school would have so many defensive measures?"

Indeed, from where he stood, the entire academy was wrapped up like an iron fortress. Large defensive cannons had emerged all over the school grounds, which was itself highly abnormal.
